Temporary Nighttime Work on Elevated Guideway

Evergreen Line crews will be working on the elevated guideway in Port Moody at night starting the week of September 12. WHAT TO EXPECT The work will take place between 4 p.m. and 1 a.m. for approximately three weeks. Nighttime work is required due testing and commissioning being underway in Port Moody during the daytime. While testing and commissioning is underway, the tracks will be powered up and for safety reasons, no concurrent work can occur. Nearby residents can expect noise related to temporary nighttime construction activities, including generators, hand saws, drills, and other hand held equipment. Every effort will be made to complete the work as quickly as possible and to complete nosier activities earlier in the evening to minimize disruptions.
